🦻🦻Presentation🦻🦻

I have always said that you never know who is listening to what you say. I said that while I was coaching sports. Sometimes it was the most difficult athlete that came back and said “thank you, I needed someone to push me the way you did”. Sometimes it was a girl who came around to say “I watched the way you tried so hard to get the team to hear what you were saying and I can tell you really mean what you say so I am going to get the rest of the team on board”.

This time it was a young mom who said “ I am planning to keep my baby because you came to my school when I was in high school and I listened to your presentation about what it means to be pro life”. This time what I said and what the person with me said saved a life. It possibly saved several from a lifetime of sorrow, regret and guilt. If you know me, you know that I say what I think. It doesn't always come out sounding like a lullaby but if you listen closely when I am talking about something I am passionate about it is coming from the heart. The ironic thing is that sometimes it`s hard to get those words out without a lot of emotion. I remember that presentation and I remember feeling like it was not my best. I was nervous and emotional. Apparently God didn't care. He knew someone needed to hear what we had to say no matter how it felt. I thank God daily for the opportunity to have found a calling and to have found a group of people who support me and support the mission and my calling. All of it matters. All of it is part of the plan to save this little life and all of the others that have come before and will come after. May we all be reminded that there are people listening to what we say. Say what is on your heart. I`ll try to remember to keep a little control over the not so heartfelt remarks.
