πŸ•―πŸ•―Light πŸ•―πŸ•―

During the past couple of weeks we`ve had a hard time with construction going on at our facility. It's hard to conduct business as usual. We even had to limit the amount of volunteers. We have had very few prayer warriors. When you do work like this you need as much help as you can get. Evil loves an opening. It loves distraction. It loves discouragement. It's A secret fighter.

Interestingly good loves goodness. It only takes a little bit of goodness to keep people going. In the battle of life sometimes it only takes one breath to keep us going. In the battle of abortion sometimes it only takes one positive conversation to remind us that we are doing good and to remind us that we are doing God's work. I'm not sure why we need to be reminded but we all do. Last week I was reminded of this. I approached a young lady with a flower and a flyer as usual and we started to have a conversation about why she was at Planned parenthood. Fortunately she wasn't there to have an abortion. She was there to get birth control. We ended up talking about the irony of getting birth control at a place where abortions are being sold. Ultimately she started talking about how important our work was and how good it is. I took this as an open door to invite her to come participate. She said she'd love to and she'd like to learn to talk like me. I asked her what that meant and she said she wanted to be able to talk to people about important things. I told her that there's only one way to do that right. I told her about how we have to pray to allow God to speak through us. We are planning to meet very soon so that I can give her a tour of our building (motivation to get it all cleaned up) and to tell her all about the great things that have happened despite evil all around.

I look forward to introducing some of you to our new potential prayer warrior who walked up like a little ray of light.
